Catching Up

Jason led Holly into the cafè. They both got hot chocolate, & sat by the fire. "So, how's Alex reacting to us leaving?" asked Holly, remembering how whiny Alex could be when he was sad. "He was fine. He's going out will Jill now," he added. "Jalex," they chorused.

"Hey guys." Quinn walked over, holding a tray. "Want refills? I work here now." She smiled, holding out a pitcher of the warm, hot, chocolaty liquid.

"Thanks, Quinn," said Holly. "This is Jason, my boyfriend from New York. He,s new out here," she added.

Quinn whistled. "So, how are you faring with the weather?" She chuckled, as she poured the steaming liquid into both of their mugs.

"Quite well. You?" asked Jason. "Yeah, we're used to the cold out here," put in Holly.

"Fine, actually." She looked up. "I come from Canada, actually close to the North, so the minus 40's and 50's come natural." She began clearing plates off the coffee table in front of the couch, and dusted off the wood surface.

OOC: What Quinn says is true xD I am used to -40's and -50's xD

IC: "Awesome. I was born in Canada, but i went to the awesome New York when Iw as little, & grew up there," said Holly.

OOC: Which Province do ya live in?

IC: Quinn nodded briefly as she finished stacking plates. She picked up the pile, "be right back, I'm on dish duty." She gave them a wink and hurried into the kitchen, pushing a half door open, then dissapering.

OOC2: You know, those little 'western bar' doors that you sometimes see in little restaraunts? That's what I mean.

IC: Holly nodded, smiling, as Quinn rushed off. "So, any other couple updates?" she asked. "Yeah," replied Jason. "Fleather broke up. You know, Heather & Flin? Now Heather's with Justin, & Flin's with Ivy."

Quinn smiled at the other staff as she made her way to the kitchen. She she filled the dish sink with warm, soapy water and began the scrub.
